Camp Policies

All camp days begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM. BSSC pays counselors to stay with campers until 3:15. If you are late for pick-up, contact counselors on their phones and be agreeable to paying them $1.00 for each minute you are late. This policy is based on years of experience and consideration for our amazing group of counselors!

In order to provide adequate camp staffing to insure a fun and safe camp experience, BSSC has formulated the following cancellation/change policy:

Cancellation before June 15th = 50% refund.

Cancellation after June 15th = NO refunds of camp tuition unless under dire circumstances.

• Missed days are not refunded or transferable.

• No tuition refund will be made in connection with late arrivals, early withdrawals, or camp dismissals due to inappropriate conduct.

• Tuition will not be reduced or refunded for the discontinuation of camp attendance due to illness or non-camp related injuries.

Because we are a small, community-based camp, we rely on confirmed registrations to plan staffing, transportation, and programming. Once a spot is reserved, we commit resources to that camper. For this reason, missed days are not refunded or transferable.
