Bolinas Stinson Summer Camp is for children entering 1st through 8th grade.

Camp runs for four 4-day sessions in July, beginning the first week after July 4th. Weeks 1 and 3 include optional Friday overnights on the Bolinas Lagoon

Camp activities take place throughout Bolinas, Stinson Beach, and West Marin, including Samuel P. Taylor State Park, the Bolinas Lagoon, Stinson Beach, Point Reyes, Mesa Park, and other local natural areas

Campers hike, surf, kayak, canoe, explore tide pools, build driftwood forts, create art, conduct science-based nature experiments, visit PRBO with bird experts, explore newt ponds, play games in the park, visit the Collage of Marin Biology lab and more. Activities vary by age group.

Yes. We host two overnights on the first and third Friday of camp at our campsite near the Bolinas Lagoon. Campers arrive at 6:00 PM and we’re packed up and out by 9:00 AM the next morning. The evening includes dinner, games, and our beloved Talent Show, followed by sleeping under the stars. Parents are welcome for dinner, and overnight stays are limited to parents of our youngest campers, Groups 1 and 2.

Weekly tuition is $400 and $450 for weeks with an overnight. Drop-in days are available on select days for a daily rate. There is also a discount for registering for all four weeks

Yes. Scholarships are available to local families. Scholarship application forms must be submitted by the stated deadline along with registration forms.

Staff are local artists, educators, naturalists, park rangers, marine biologists, surfers, and trip leaders who share their skills with campers. Counselors are carefully selected local youth, many of whom were former campers. All receive training in first aid, CPR, group dynamics, and camp safety before camp begins.
